    Talent Lineup for Disney’s 25th Annual Night of Joy
    Walt Disney World Resort has announced the talent lineup for the milestone 25th annual Night of Joy on Sept. 7 and Sept. 8 in Magic Kingdom, with Third Day, Chris Tomlin and David Crowder*Band on the marquee of a nine-act lineup of Christian music artists Sept. 7 followed by newsboys, Steven Curtis Chapman and Salvador spearheading a nine-act lineup Sept. 8.

    Check out the new prices for tickets...Disney did not raise the base price of the magic you way tickets but the options that you can add to the base ticket have gone up but so have the number of visits that opions was has gone up as well. check them out.

    Disney Releases their 2006 Annual Report
    Typically, we usually dont report on disney finances. BUT...this report is worth a look as Disney has added some concept art to the main page. There is toy story mania the source idea for midway mania coming to MGM studios soon. Even a concept for new disney theme park, potentially part of a second or third phase of the beltway project (see right)?     Added new Osbourne DANCING lights videos
    New for the 2006 holiday season, Disney has added motion to new york street. It is actually a pretty cool effect. If you have seen the Miller Lite commercial with the lights on the house dancing to the music then you have an idea of what this will look like BUT on a grand scale. I am encoding these now and should have them up before end of day.

    Little Ones Can Dance and Sing During Kid-Friendly Concert Series at Disney-MGM Studios
    "Playhouse Disney in Concert," a seven-week theatrical and musical extravaganza that includes a four-day engagement by the award-winning The Wiggles, will rouse the crowd and have little ones singing and dancing Aug. 13-Sept. 30 at Disney-MGM Studios at Walt Disney World Resort.

    Traveling with 'Little Ones' Easier Than Ever With Disney's New Magical Beginnings
    Disney's Magical Beginnings, presented by Hasbro, Inc.’s PLAYSKOOL brand, is a new, breakthrough program devoted to families traveling with toddlers or preschoolers. It was custom-designed based on both consumer research and guest feedback and is aimed at reducing the hassles and increasing the magic for parents when vacationing with toddlers and preschoolers.

    Disney raises prices for the sencond time in one year
    Disney raises prices of a single day ticket from $63 to $67. Of course this affects all all multiday passes as well. It is a minimal increase for passes of 4 days or longer typically go up a few dollars. It is the 1,2 and 3 day passes that are really seeing the increase.

    Captain Jack Sparrow Joins Crew of Pirates of the Caribbean Attraction at Walt Disney World Resort
    Pirates of the Caribbean, the classic Disney theme park adventure brought to the big screen in "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl," reopened July 7 at Walt Disney World Resort following a three-month closure to add characters and features from the blockbuster motion picture franchise. The Florida attraction's reopening coincided with the opening of "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.".

    Expedition: Everest now open
    Walt Disney World guests will discover for themselves the fearsome lore of the yeti when Expedition Everest peaks in early 2006 at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

  • Heard of The Beltway project? No? This is a project that currently has I-4 all messed up. the project is located very near to the Animal Kingdom lodge. As a DVC member, disney has told us that a new AKL villas is next for the disney vacation club. Other than the lodge itself, it is out in the middle of no where. That where the new beltway project comes in. While disney is mum on future projects, disney has submitted applications to the state of florida to build a new area on its property. The new area is to consist of retail, condos(dvc), dining, etc. This is the new "Downtown Disney West" and the current Downtown Disney becomes "Downtown Disney East".
  • Walt Disney World Resort Unwraps New Restaurant; Outdoor Dining Overlooking Golf, Downtown Disney. Check it out
  • Families, friends or anyone just needing more "room to roam" will have it with the introduction of Disney's All-Star Resort Family Suites at Disney's All-Star Music Resort. More than 400 guestrooms are being converted to 214 family suites at the value-priced resort, with completion of the rooms-to-suites makeover set for late fall.
  • The new Holiday Wishes from Mickeys very merry Christmar party is now available in the sound/video page (last page). Join Jiminy Cricket and celebrate that sounds of the hoildays.
  • Reflections of China -- A new version of the Circle-Vision 360 film showing at Epcot since 1982 now showcases a more contemporary China thanks to a crew of American and Chinese filmmakers who worked together to capture fresh views of city life and contemporary dress. The film includes additions such as footage of Hong Kong and Macau plus entirely new footage of Shanghai. Poet Li Bai, who narrated the original “Wonders of China” film, remains the narrator of this film.
