Giant icons from favorite Disney movies set the scene and cameras are rolling -- guests' cameras, that is. Colossal images from "101 Dalmatians," "Toy Story," "Fantasia," "The Mighty Ducks" and "The Love Bug" decorate the new resort hotel. Disney's All-Star Movies Resort joins the popular pair of value resorts -- Disney's 1,920-room All-Star Music Resort and 1,920-room All-Star Sports Resort on a 62-acre site near Disney's Animal Kingdom. The new value resort features some big stars -- really big stars. Pongo and
Perdita from "101 Movies also inspire the check-in and guest service facilities and a food court with five marquee venues, a gift shop and arcade. Guests looking for a cinematic swim can "skate" into the hockey rink-themed pool in the Mighty Ducks or join Sorcerer Mickey as he directs a liquid symphony at the Fantasia pool, featuring a kiddie area. An outdoor pool bar offers light food and drink. Families will enjoy the whimsy of this brightly-colored movieland, along with great rates -- 2000 value rates at Disney's All-Star Resorts are $74-$104 per room per night. Most rooms sleep four. Non-smoking and connecting rooms and accommodations for guests with disabilities also are available. The Fantasia-themed area of the new Disney's All-Star Movies Resort represents the original "Fantasia" with oversized icons such as brooms and buckets, a sorcerer's hat and a spell book. Also represented is a segment from the "Fantasia 2000" film entitled "The Steadfast Tin Soldier," with larger-than-life icons including a ballerina, a jack-in-the-box, roses and tin soldiers. "Fantasia 2000" is based on the original "Fantasia" but also features six new segments, one of which is "The Steadfast Tin Soldier." 1701 West Buena Vista Drive View

Here's the lineup:
Red, white and blue star-shaped seating, caged lighting such as in a basketball gym, and miniature red lockers delight sports fans at Stadium Hall, the resort's main check-in area. Sports scenes such as surfing and football decorate the walls in the End Zone food court. Giant sports figures sit atop brightly colored green, blue and red dining booths. A selection of food is offered -- from pizza, pasta and roasted chicken, to barbecue and salads. The name of the game is athletics in the guest rooms, which feature sports-themed bedspreads, megaphone light fixtures and artwork depicting sports scenes. Standard guest rooms sleep four. Non-smoking rooms, connecting rooms and disabled-accessible rooms are available. Other guest areas include Team Spirits pool bar, Sport Goofy Gifts & Sundries, Game Point Arcade and coin-operated washers and dryers.
